Yabini Kickett, Aunty Yvonne Green, Bevan Thompson, Yamatji – Nyoongar contemporary artist, along with Marcia Leonard, the Cannery's Artistic Program Manager, served as mentors to the students, providing guidance and support in the development of their artwork. This collaborative effort aims to provide a platform for the community to engage with and learn about First Nations stories while also showcasing the immense talent of the local school-aged children. Visit the gallery on our opening night, Tuesday 4 July. This exhibit will be on display until 4 August.
