July isn't just about Kickarts at the Cannery—it's also the prime time for the spectacular whale migration across the South Coast! In this engaging 1 hour workshop, you'll learn about the different types of whales, their fascinating behaviors, and the reasons behind their migration. Inspired by these magnificent creatures, participants will create an A3 watercolour painting and a papercut artwork, capturing the beauty and majesty of whales. Led by Katie White, from Caladenia Co, a botanist and scientist turned artist and educator, this workshop promises to be both educational and creatively fulfilling. Katie's deep passion for the natural world and her enthusiasm for sharing its wonders will make this a memorable experience for all. Join us and let the majestic whales inspire your creativity!
All materials are provided. Participants should wear clothes suitable for crafting, and must wear closed in shoes. Recommended to send them with a labelled water bottle.
