The Esperance Art Awards are the major visual arts awards open to artists living in the South-East Region of WA. It showcases and celebrates the works of emerging and established artists in an exhibition that is judged by an impartial arts professional.
We invite artists to submit works for delivery 4-8 November 10am-4pm each day with extension to 5pm on 8 November 2024.
Awards and Opening Night 21 November 2024 6pm
*please note sale of artworks is allowed from 6pm but no sales during speeches.

Southern Ports- Esperance NON-ACQUISITIVE - $1000
Award sponsored by Southern Ports Esperance. Marine theme: any medium
First Nations Art Award NON- ACQUISITIVE - $1000
Any subject, any medium. Sponsor Mineral Resources Limited
3D Award NON-ACQUISITIVE - $1000
Open to sculptural, three-dimensional pieces, any medium Prize for Glass, Sculpture, Mix media, Textile, Ceramics. Sponsor Chris Siemer
2D Award NON-ACQUISITIVE - $1000
Including, but not limited to, a work on paper such as pastel, pencil, pen & ink, watercolour, charcoal, Photography, Digital Media, Painting, oil or acrylic painting on board or canvas. Sponsor Farm and General.
Youth Artist Award (16-26 yrs) - $500
Awarded to a young and emerging artist Sponsored by the Hon. Steve Martin MLC.
People's Choice Award - $500
As voted by gallery visitors and sponsored by the Hon. Shelley Payne MLC.
Highly Commended Award - $500
Artworks deemed worthy for award by the judge. Sponsored by Mr Peter James Rundle MLA & Hon. Colin Stephen de Grussa-The Nationals WA
