The Esperance Art Awards 2024 Exhibition opened on Thursday 21st November to a buzzing crowd admiring the awe-inspiring works—from intricate sculptures to vivid paintings— the gallery dazzled with colour, creativity, and community spirit, showcasing the immense talent of the creatives across the region.
Judged by esteemed artist and curator Zali Morgan, 9 artworks were selected for awards.
The Shire of Esperance Award of Excellence, the most prestigious award, was won by Elaine Fewings for her stunning encaustic wax painting 'The Gentle Nature of Peaceful Resistance' presented by Shire President Mr Ron Chambers.
