Try your hand at embroidery for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Learn some basic embroidery stitches to create delicate flowers with artist Rani Fankha. Being formally trained as a fashion designer and driven by a passion for Japanese pop culture and lifestyle, she started creating her own art early on in her life. She interweaves the two disciplines in a seamless way, adding another dimension to her art by translating the aesthetics of her drawings into wearable but unique textiles.
You will start out on a test patch and then move on to customising your own garment, a shirt, hat, pants, jacket, or even just a plain tea towel. All other materials are provided, including a hoop which is yours to keep, and the urn will be on with tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Adults only.
