A Tzicuri (God’s eye) is a Mexican charm of good luck and protection, woven onto crisscrossing sticks joining in the centre. Jimena Ramon Montemayor is a Mexican marine biologist living in Esperance and she loves sharing her passion about the ocean and her culture. Jimena will guide participants to weave their chosen yarns to create the tzicuri, a hanging decorative object that they can take home at the end of the workshop. They may even get to make more than one!
All materials are provided. Participants should wear clothes suitable for crafting, and must wear closed in shoes. Recommended to send them with a labelled water bottle.
