KickArts: Spooky LEGO Tales

  • Cannery Arts Centre 1018 Norseman Road CHADWICK Australia (map)

Prepare for a spooktacular Halloween adventure combining creativity, storytelling, and LEGO building! In this workshop, participants will randomly select a Halloween LEGO minifigure and it will be up to them to create its personality, describing its unique abilities, and personality traits, and especially giving it a name. Guided by teacher Steven Wombell, who has a passion for LEGO and writing, participants will bring their character to life using LEGO bricks! With a wide variety of LEGO pieces at their disposal to construct a setting for their character and start developing a storyline for the character. We will take a photo of each child's spooky masterpiece. These photos will be printed and paired with the character profile page, creating a personalised keepsake for each participant. As a bonus, each child will get to keep their LEGO minifigure. Thank you to ESCARE for loaning us their LEGO for the setting construction.

All materials are provided. Participants should wear clothes suitable for crafting, and must wear closed in shoes. Recommended to send them with a labelled water bottle.
